Cameraman Tower Defense tier list for Insane Mode

Rank every Cameraman Tower Defense unit for Insane mode after Update 3, with DPS, costs, and a cheap clear plan.

What this Cameraman Tower Defense tier list measures

Clearing 50-wave Insane mode is the real test in this Roblox game, and the rarest profile flex is not always the unit that gets you there. This Cameraman Tower Defense tier list sorts the roster by reported stat-card damage and by units that showed up in Insane wins after Update 3. Use the same Cameraman Tower Defense tier list when a trade looks pricey but the card would fold on wave 50.

The game ships with no ranking of its own. Community reports built these tiers from unit stat cards and from Insane clears, not from pull rates. S tier means a unit can carry or anchor the 50-wave mode. Lower tiers may win early rushes and then leave the board. Confirm the live build on the official Cameraman Tower Defense Roblox page from Aligators Games, and trust your card if a number here disagrees.

The snapshot below follows win rate first and raw damage second. Ninja Cameraman and Scientist Cameraman stay above the filler bin because they showed up in clears, even though several damage-only pages rank them as starters.

Written pages call the fast Update 3 mythic Upgraded Videoman Prototype. A spoken ranking sounds like "videotaper." If your card uses another label, follow the card.

S-tier carries and the units that actually win

On a damage-only Cameraman Tower Defense tier list, TV Spider sits alone: about 10,000 splash damage per second and a range of 40. Player experience still treats it as a trade. The Spider Crate costs 100 gems, the quoted odds are about 1 in 500, and a launch-day check reportedly saw 14 copies in the game. One write-up adds a 400 cash cost, a 0.2-second cooldown, a wide cone, and a cap of six. Those extras are not confirmed on the stat-card pass, so check them against your own card.

Upgraded Brute Prototype is close on paper, at about 9,000 splash damage per second, then it eats the bank. Maxing it costs about 41,000 cash, so it takes over late or not at all. One ranking puts it in the basic crate's 1-in-1,000 slot beside Titan Cinema Man. Another ties it to an Update 3 banner. Trust the shop you actually see.

Titan Cinema Man is the plain splash carry: about 7,000 splash damage per second, about 38,000 cash to max, and two Insane wins in the sample. Players priced a 1-in-1,000 basic-crate chase near 90,000 coins. Titan Cameraman won more often with a smaller number. It was in four of seven clears, at about 3,000 damage per second, range 30, and about 8,500 cash, with a last upgrade that doubles damage. Summon while it is the featured 1% unit. That featured face changes about every 20 minutes. Upgraded Videoman Prototype's 7,500 damage per second comes with a different last level: attack speed doubles, and damage per hit does not.

Jetpack Cameraman hits once a second for 5,000, so it chips bosses and leaks crowds. Player experience gives it seven levels, a 300 cash placement cost, and no normal crate. It comes from the paid Jetpack pack.

Engineer Cameraman deals no damage until the final upgrade. Earlier helpers only block the path. At max, each helper is reported at 3,000 damage per second and 100,000 health, a new one arrives about every 20 seconds, and you can place three. The pull is about 1% from the Scientist Crate, which that ranking called a paid crate. Grade it after max, not on the empty early levels.

A-tier damage, burn, and income

A tier on this Cameraman Tower Defense tier list still belongs in a winning match. It should not be your only plan for the final boss.

Glitch Cameraman is the cheap new mythic: about 13,500 cash to max, the least of the three new mythics, and about 6,000 damage per second after a final upgrade that triples damage from about 2,000. The lobby can say 27 range while a match stops at 25. Upgraded Titan Speakerman is simpler splash, about 5,000 damage per second for about 17,000 cash.

Woman Crates are win drops, not shop items. Community reports put the crate near 10% after an Insane win and near 2% after Easy, about one crate per 10 Insane clears. TV Woman is about a 2% pull inside it, roughly one per 500 Insane wins, at about 4,000 splash damage plus a burn tag. Speaker Woman is about a 20% pull, one per 50 Insane wins, at about 3,500 damage per second. One ranking called that the hardest legendary hit. Another page moves TV Woman to S tier. The seven-win sample does not, so it stays A here.

Camera Spider is the Spider Crate unit you can actually field: about 3,500 damage per second at range 35, near a 9.8% pull. Ninja Cameraman remains the best starter in these notes. At 200 cash to place and about 1,800 to max, it posted about 1,000 damage per second, the best damage per cash measured, and it matched Titan Cameraman with four wins in the sample. Scientist Cameraman pays 500 cash a wave at max. Four copies pay 2,000, double the late-wave payout those players cited. Popcorn Cameraman's 200 a wave is not a replacement.

Lower tiers you should plan to sell

The bottom of the Cameraman Tower Defense tier list still matters on wave 1, then stops mattering. B-tier units clear the middle and give the slot back.

Laser Cameraman Car climbs to about 2,500 damage per second for about 7,000 cash, and the last upgrade does the work: damage from 200 to 500 and range from 19 to 30. Titan TV Man matches Titan Speakerman at about 2,000 damage per second, then costs about 16,000 instead of about 4,500. Pay that only for splash. Large TV Man is the surprise epic, present in two Insane wins. Large Scientist Cameraman splashes for about 300 cash to place and about 6,700 to max. Camera Helicopter only stalls, with a max helper up to 10,000 health.

C tier is a waiting room. Dark Camerawoman ties TV Spider at range 40 and then deals about 400 damage a second. Speaker Spider is about 90% of the Spider Crate at about 500 damage a second, which is where gem summons usually go. D tier is the rest of a basic crate. Player experience puts basic, uncommon, and rare pulls at about 95% of it.

How winning boards clear Insane

You can place 15 units, and late slots should be carries. Wave 1 pays about 50 cash. From wave 20, each wave pays about 1,000, so max one tower before you buy the next. The last upgrade usually doubles damage. Three half-built units lose to one finished carry.

  • Featured basic-crate units rotate about every 20 minutes.
  • Selling returns about half the cash you spent.
  • Double Luck only touches slots under a 10% chance.
  • Finish the last upgrade before you place a duplicate.

Wave 50Boss Toilet 3, over 1,000,000 healthExpect double health in a duo

One solo board, shared as player experience rather than a script, started with a Ninja, four scientists, and a second Ninja, then two Large Scientist Cameramen. Wave 40 sold the ninjas for Titan Cameraman and Laser Cameraman Car. Wave 44 sold the scientists for more large scientists, and auto-skip went off at wave 48.

The cheapest reported clear is Titan Cameraman with Ninja Cameraman. Both are legendaries from the basic crate, matching an in-game Insane note that legendary units are better. One player beat all 50 waves solo with only those two. Open on Ninja, stack titans, and max one copy before you place another. A different win ended with nine maxed Titan Cameramen. A Jetpack owner also cleared with Jetpack Cameraman and Large TV Man for about 700 cash placed.

All seven wins in that sample were on Toilet City. A partner does not shrink wave 50. Community reports put Boss Toilet 3 over one million health and double that bar in a duo. Have splash maxed before wave 49 and wave 50, not after a leak.

Coins, luck, and trade prices

Insane paid about 600 coins a win in these notes, about 12 a wave and more than double Easy. In that Update 3 window, double coins made it 1,200, and one win with a double-coins pass paid 1,800. A double-health modifier added about 900 coins on a single clear. Those modifiers can end. Ten-summon bundles cost 900 coins instead of 1,000. Double game speed unlocks at 200 wins.

Scarcity sets the asking price. This Cameraman Tower Defense tier list only ranks the fight. Player experience put Engineer Cameraman near seven Titan Cinema Man copies, and put TV Spider above two Engineers, because almost nobody had the spider. Update 3 units were already sliding that week. Check a fresh community value list before you overpay for a card you still cannot max in a real match.

FAQ

What is the cheapest team on this Cameraman Tower Defense tier list?

Titan Cameraman plus Ninja Cameraman. Both are basic-crate legendaries. Place Ninja for 200 cash, stack titans, and max one copy at a time. One solo player cleared all 50 Insane waves with only that pair.

Which unit has the highest reported damage?

TV Spider, at about 10,000 splash damage per second and range 40. Upgraded Brute Prototype is next at about 9,000. Highest damage was not the most common win. Titan Cameraman, near 3,000 damage per second, showed up in more of the checked clears.

Do Woman Crates come from the shop?

No. Player experience says they drop after a win, about 10% of the time on Insane and about 2% on Easy. TV Woman is the rare pull inside. Speaker Woman is much more common. Dark Camerawoman is the long-range, low-damage result and sits in C tier here.

Does Double Luck fix basic-crate results?

It only boosts slots under a 10% chance. It does not help the filler that is about 95% of the basic crate. It also will not produce TV Spider or Engineer Cameraman, which come from other crates.
