Cameraman Tower Defense tips for Pulls and Farms
Practical Cameraman Tower Defense tips for crate odds, coin farms, gem pulls, and Insane clears from player-reported costs.
Most players empty a crate, miss the unit they wanted, and then blame luck. Shop timing matters more than another stack of coins. Cameraman Tower Defense tips only pay off when they match this Roblox game's crates, not a similar tower-defense title. These Cameraman Tower Defense tips cover coin pulls, win drops, gem spiders, and free-to-play units that community reports have already used on Insane.
Cameraman Tower Defense, from Aligators Games, has you place cameramen, speakers, TVs, and odd machines so waves never finish the path. Players call the enemies toilets. This is still not Toilet Tower Defense, and that game's wikis do not share these odds or prices. If a page is about a different title, leave its numbers out.
Check the official Cameraman Tower Defense page on Roblox after each patch. Figures below are player experience from mid-October 2026, not a developer sheet.
Read the Basic Crate Before You Spend
The useful Cameraman Tower Defense tips start at the basic crate, where coins go. Reports put one summon at 100 coins and a 10-pull at 900, so tens save 100 coins each time.
Six slots each hold one unit. The lineup refreshes about every 30 minutes, with a timer on the panel. You only roll the mythic currently shown. If the name is wrong, wait out the timer.
| Slot (player reports) | Chance | Average pulls | Cost in 10-pulls |
|---|---|---|---|
| Epic | 4% | About 25 | About 2,250 coins |
| Legendary | 1% | 100 | About 9,000 coins |
| Mythic | 0.1% | 1,000 | About 90,000 coins |
| Two bottom slots | 80% | Most opens | Common units |
Those averages are not guarantees. Spending 100,000 coins in tens still leaves about one player in three with no mythic. A run of 250 pulls with no legendary or mythic hits about one player in 16. That drought is normal.
A double-luck pass doubles only slots under 10%, cutting the mythic average to about 45,000 coins. A luck potion stacks with it. Together those slots show triple odds, near 30,000 coins per mythic. Enable both before you open.
Bottom slots are filler: plain Cameraman plus Brown Cameraman or Car Speakerman. Plain Speakerman never showed in the lineups those players read.
Keep the Units That Actually Carry
The rare slot flips between TV Man and Popcorn Cameraman. Keep Popcorn. It is the farm, up to three at once, and two Insane wins used it instead of Scientists. Commentary puts the max near 200 cash. That note is fuzzier than Scientist's 500 cash per wave, so confirm it on the card.
Epics rotate Large Cameraman, Large Speakerman, Large TV Man, and Camera Helicopter. Large Speakerman was weakest of the larges at 400 damage per second. Three Hard wins used only Large Cameraman. One Insane win used Large TV Man as the only partner for a Jetpack.
| Legendary | Reported max | Role in the sample |
|---|---|---|
| Ninja Cameraman | 1,000 damage/sec, 1,800 cash | Opener in 11 of 20 Insane wins |
| Titan Cameraman | 3,000 damage/sec | One team placed nine |
| Laser Car | 7,000 cash to max | Eleven cleared Insane twice, no mythic |
| Titan Speakerman | Beside stronger carries | Pull this legendary last |
Mythics rotate Titan Cinemaman, Upgraded Titan Speakerman, Glitch Cameraman, Brute Prototype, and Video Tapper Prototype. Wait for the name you will actually max.
| Mythic | Damage/sec | Cash to max | Sample note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Glitch Cameraman | 6,000 | 13,500 | Cheapest to finish |
| Video Tapper Prototype | 7,500 | 21,000 | Six plus four Scientists won Insane |
| Upgraded Titan Speakerman | Not stated | About 20,000 | Two wins, strong late |
| Titan Cinemaman | Area; DPS not stated | 40,000 | Five Insane wins, most of any mythic |
| Brute Prototype | 9,000 | 41,000 | Hardest hit, ready only at the end |
Finish Glitch during the match. Brute's 9,000 damage looks best and arrives too late for many runs. Titan Cinemaman is the pricey area pick. Use area damage on crowds and single-target damage on bosses. If an upgrade adds an AOE tag, max that one tower before you spam weak copies.
Farm the Mode That Pays
Use these Cameraman Tower Defense tips when choosing a difficulty too. Player tests had Hard under 30 coins a minute, Insane near 60, and Insane with X2HP mobs near 150. That last rate was their best farm: about an hour per legendary and about 10 hours per unboosted mythic.
During double coins, each win pays the base reward again on top. Farm inside that window. Some community guides also mention coin and luck boosts for staying in a server. Confirm the buff on your own screen.
| Goal | Coins | Time near 150/min | Worth opening? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Epic | ~2,250 | ~15 min | Yes, if the epic is useful |
| Legendary | ~9,000 | ~1 hour | Only for Ninja, Titan Cameraman, or Laser Car |
| Mythic, no boost | ~90,000 | ~10 hours | Only if that mythic is showing |
| Mythic, pass + potion | ~30,000 | ~3–4 hours | Same, boosts on first |
Coins cannot open the woman crate. It drops after a win: 2% Easy, 4% Normal, 6% Hard, and 10% Insane in player reports. One Insane clear equals five Easy clears for the crate, and about six times the coins.
| Unit | Crate odds | Insane wins per copy | Max from reports |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dark Camerawoman | 78% | ~13 | 400 damage/sec, range 40 |
| Speakerwoman | 20% | ~50 | 3,500 damage/sec |
| TV Woman | 2% | ~500 | 4,000 damage/sec, burn |
Five hundred Insane wins, at 10 minutes, is over 80 hours for one TV Woman. She showed up in the fastest clear they logged, 6:14, and was the only unit they had seen apply burn. Speakerwoman is the smarter grind: about eleven carried Desert Insane with no Scientist, out-damaging a maxed Titan Cameraman. Dark Camerawoman hits softly, but range 40 was the longest attack range recorded. Park that range at the front of the path.
Gems come from quests after 20 wins, five gems each, four on the board, so a full board is 20. Spider tries cost 100 gems, and ten tries cost 1,000 with no discount. Camera Spider sits near 9.8% and TV Spider at 0.2%. Speaker Spider is the common pull, around 500 damage per second. The unspoken remainder would be about 90% if those two rates are complete.
Camera Spider is the real gem buy: about 10 tries, 1,000 gems, 3,500 damage per second, range 35. TV Spider averages 500 tries and 50,000 gems, or 2,500 full boards. Its card says 40 range, which players read as walk distance; the attack reaches 20. The 10,000 damage per second figure was the highest they saw, and that sample still had no Insane win using it.
Skip Packs the Coin Crate Already Rolls
A paid crate is reported to drop Scientist, Large Scientist, and Engineer at about 89%, 10%, and 1%. Maxed Scientist pays 500 cash a wave, costs 3,900, and refunds that in about eight waves. Four can be placed. Large Scientist is area damage, about 1,250 per second, not a farm. Engineer averages 100 tries, and helpers do nothing until the last upgrade at 15,000 cash.
Skip that crate and Popcorn farms for you. Seven of 20 Insane wins never placed a Scientist. Jetpack, sold in a pack with 1,000 coins and two boosts, reaches 5,000 damage per second for 10,500 cash and once duo-cleared Insane. Laser Car has done Insane with no mythic, so the pack is optional.
Glitch, Brute, and Video Tapper also share a paid pack, but all three roll in the coin mythic slot. A hard rule in these Cameraman Tower Defense tips: look at the slot before you pay, and only 10-pull when you want the legendary or mythic on screen.
Titan TV Man, a legendary, was missing from 15 lineups in the week before mid-October 2026 and was not in the shop. It had been pulled before a late-September lobby update and might return. At 16,000 cash for 2,000 damage per second, it was the weakest carry per coin in that set. Do not hoard for it.
Codes expire. A mid-October 2026 community list named UPDATE1, Engineer, UpgradedTitanSpeakerman, and RELEASE. Paste them into the shop box; they are case-sensitive. Failed codes are retired. Fresh ones come from Aligators Games, not from another game's code page.
Place for Range, Then Upgrade Tall
Another pass of Cameraman Tower Defense tips is pure placement. Read the path, put damage on chokes, and put area damage where groups stack. Upgrade one good tower before you litter the map. That tall style leaves cash for the upgrade that changes the wave.
Short range wastes big damage because the unit fires late. Dark Camerawoman's range 40 belongs up front. Do not trust TV Spider's printed 40 until you see that the attack is 20. Auto Skip is for farms that already clear. Turn it off if the current wave is still up. Hide Popcorn or Scientist behind the damage line.
Stuck on Insane? Match the reported clears:
- Open with Ninja Cameraman if the early rush leaks.
- Farm with Popcorn unless you own Scientist.
- Max the area unit first.
- Sell a weak tower to finish Laser Car or Speakerwoman.
- Check luck boosts and the mythic name before any open.
- If placement breaks or enemies stop spawning, swap maps or rejoin.
Start with Ninja and Popcorn. For Insane without a mythic, bring Laser Car or Speakerwoman. Play Insane for coins and for a woman-crate rate five times Easy. Spend gems on Camera Spider.
The sample is about 20 Insane clears plus one week of shops. A new patch can move these numbers. Read the live card before a 90,000-coin session.
Put together, the Cameraman Tower Defense tips that protect your coins are simple: wait for the slot, pull tens, farm boosted Insane, and treat TV Spider as a luxury.
FAQ
What are the best Cameraman Tower Defense tips for a new account?
Ten-pull the basic crate only when the featured legendary or mythic is one you will place. These early Cameraman Tower Defense tips skip the paid crate until a coin mythic is actually missing. Farm with Popcorn Cameraman and open with Ninja Cameraman. Shift to Insane once it is stable. Hold gems for Camera Spider.
How do mythic units drop in this game?
Basic-crate mythics are a 0.1% slot in player reports, about 90,000 coins in tens, or about 30,000 with pass and potion together. TV Spider is a different 0.2% gem pull, about 50,000 gems. Do not mix those rates.
Can you beat Insane without paying?
Yes, in the reported clears. Laser Car has done it with no mythic, Speakerwoman has done Desert with no Scientist, and 7 of 20 Insane wins used no Scientist at all. Paid units shorten farming. They are not required.
Why do other guides list different stats?
Many cover Toilet Tower Defense or a lookalike, not this game. Use the in-game card, and the official Roblox page, before you copy a damage number, a code, or a trade price.
